Teaching aims : | Students will have a command of the important principles in dealing with digital audio material. They will be able to create sound and simple musical compositions independently. Students will be familiar with various sampler technologies. They will be able to create their own sampler instruments and control them using MIDI. They will be able to evaluate audio production quality, create their own simple mixes and master them at recording studios. They will be able to conceptualize and employ sound, taking aesthetic considerations into account. In addition, they will be able to use relevant software (stereo editors, LogicExpress/Pro, ProTools HD). | ||
