Teaching aims : | The Dissertation Seminar is designed to prepare students for writing their Bachelor’s dissertation. Students will know the requirements for academic work, especially with regard to written form. They will present their progress while completing their dissertations for discussion at the seminar. The Bachelor’s dissertation itself is an examination paper which completes the degree course. It should demonstrate the candidate’s ability to deal with a task in his field of studies on an independent and experimental basis according to scientific methods within a prescribed period as well as the ability to demonstrate the knowledge and skills acquired. The degree course ends with a colloquium in which the candidate presents and defends the results of the dissertation. This allows students are able to apply the rhetorical skills they have gained. | ||
